Baguette and Entremont Saint Mont des Alpes cheese appetisers
- 2 pre-cooked half baguettes (2*125g)
- 2 eggs
- 2 shallots
- 1/2 bunch chives
- 100g lardons
- 20cl single cream
- 150g Entremont Saint Mont des Alpes cheese
- Salt, pepper
Cut off the top of the baguette and scoop out the middle without making any holes in the crust. Fry the lardons and shallots in a pan. Brown lightly and add the cream. Leave the mixture to cool then add the eggs, chopped chives, and grated Entremont Saint Mont des Alpes cheese. Mix well and salt and pepper to taste.
Fill the baguette with the grated Entremont Saint Mont des Alpes cheese mixture.
Bake for 20 minutes until the baguette is golden brown at 180°C. Leave to cool for a few minutes, then cut into slices before serving.
