Entremont Cantal cheese waffles
For 6 mini waffles
- 1 puff pastry circles
- 2 slices of cooked ham
- 6 Entremont Cantal slices
- 2 spring onions
Heat the waffle iron.
Unroll the puff pastry circle and cut out small circles using a glass or pastry cutter. Cut out slightly smaller circles in the Entremont Cantal cheese slices and the ham.
Lay a ham and Entremont Cantal cheese circle on half of the pastry circles. Sprinkle a little finely chopped spring onion over the top. Close with a second pastry circle.
Lightly grease the waffle iron, put the waffles in and cook (approx. 5 mins) watching them to make sure they do not burn.
Serve hot with drinks or as a starter with a salad!
